Boston, MA – MassINC and The MassINC Polling Group (MPG) are excited to launch their new in-house media group, MPG Media. The new division offers public, private, and social-sector clients a suite of digital storytelling services, including photography and videography, messaging and distribution, and social media strategy and web design.
Ahead of its official launch, MPG Media has already compiled an impressive portfolio of digital projects sharing local stories, giving voice to a movement, and elevating community leaders.
MPG Media is led by Llyr Johansen. Llyr spent more than a decade working in film, television, commercial, and digital media production in Hollywood before joining MassINC in 2015. Since then, his efforts have generated record-breaking traffic for all MassINC, CommonWealth, and The MassINC Polling Group platforms, and have brought the think tank’s efforts to life in beautifully designed visual media.
“This brings a whole new dimension to our offerings,” said MPG President Steve Koczela. “We have always helped clients explore ideas and messages with opinion research. With Llyr’s team on board, we can expand them into a full-blown digital campaign. Llyr and his team have worked wonders for MassINC already, and we’re excited to share their talents with new and existing clients.”
MPG Media will leverage MassINC and MPG’s deep expertise in policy, government, and politics. By combining a nuanced understanding of our client’s key issues with beautifully designed still and moving images, MPG Media offers our clients the insight and imagination to communicate their values and ideas in compelling ways.
Llyr will be supported by the team at MPG, which has established itself as the leading public opinion research firm in New England with its work for WBUR and other major corporate and philanthropic clients across the region.
