Program Assistant Intern
MassINC is seeking a Program Assistant intern to work with the Chief Operating Officer, and our programmatic staff to assist in all areas of the organization with special projects as assigned. The intern will also support the organizations individual, corporate and foundation development efforts.
Assigned projects will be very diverse and require a broad range of skills, including research, writing, organizing and planning. Projects may include: preparing for staffing events, coordinating /completing outreach for various initiatives and forums, tracking and managing our growing donors, researching new donor and philanthropic prospects, and assisting with a myriad of general clerical and administrative office tasks.
This unpaid part-time (15 hrs. a week) internship position offers the opportunity to build your resume with real responsibility in a unique work environment. The right candidate will view this as an opportunity to learn, grow and gain exposure to Massachusetts’ businesses, nonprofit and civic leaders while working as part of a team in all areas of a small non-profit.
College credit is available.
- Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently;
- Must be able to work cohesively with a small team in an office setting;
- Proven track record of taking initiative on multi-step projects and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and environment;
- Have strong organizational skills, be a self-starter, adaptable, reliable and motivated. Skills required:
Excellent computer skills, especially with MS Office programs and Google Drive.
This is a part-time internship in our Beacon Hill office.
