Jodi Wilinsky Hill

Principal Consultant, Building On

Jodi Wilinsky Hill founded Building On, her consulting practice, to provide project based consulting services to socially conscious businesses, nonprofit organizations, coalitions and cross-sector alliances, supporting entities with compelling missions to maximize their reach and to be bold.
Building On sees both the big picture and the detailed pieces of the puzzle, embracing complexity, sorting out challenges, creating clarity, offering solutions and amplifying impact. Jodi brings to Building On her life’s passion for equity and access – a deeply held belief that everyone deserves loving care; safety, shelter and food; and top notch education and health care. A level playing field matters.
Building On has a special passion for projects that: level the playing field for under-served populations; improve the education, health and workforce status of people; matter to children; build connections; may seem too complicated.
Building On builds on Jodi Wilinsky Hill’s education, work, and volunteer background: Non-profit start up, management, scaling and merger (Parenting Resource Associates, COMPASS for kids); workforce development; Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Trauma Therapist; Educator, Fundraiser.
Jodi earned a Master’s degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and a BA from Wesleyan University.
