Reed Passafaro

Reed Passafaro is chief of staff for National Grid New England, a business responsible for the safe, reliable and affordable energy delivery to National Grid’s customers in New England, including gas and electric operations in Massachusetts and transmission in New England, while being at the heart of the energy transition. Prior to joining National Grid, Reed was the chief of staff at the Massachusetts Port Authority (Massport), a $1B quasi-public economic development and transportation agency that owns and operates Logan International Airport, Worcester Regional Airport, Hanscom Airfield, Conley Container Terminal and Flynn Cruiseport Boston, and also manages commercial real estate assets. Before Massport, Reed was the director of speechwriting for Boston Mayor Thomas M. Menino. Reed is a graduate of St. John Fisher University and received an MBA from Northeastern University.
