Sonia Bouvier Senior Research Analyst of the Applied Research and Program Evaluation group , UMass Donahue Institute
Senior Research Analyst of the Applied Research and Program Evaluation group and 8-year employee of the UMass Donahue Institute. For over 20 years, Ms. Bouvier has worked with community-based organizations on a range of public health and educational initiatives related to school safety, tobacco control, domestic violence, and increasing access to care and coverage for the uninsured. In addition to the MassINC study, her work for UMDI has included the evaluation of a multi-year Safe Schools/Healthy Students initiative and she is currently working with the Department of Higher Education to evaluate the Improving Teacher Quality Program, with UMass Amherst to evaluate the PREP intern program that supports underrepresented minorities interested in STEM doctoral programs, and with the Clarke Schools for Hearing and Speech to conduct formative evaluation of a tele-practice approach to providing services for families of very young children who are deaf and hard of hearing.
