Thomas Green
Former Managing Director and Head of Infrastructure Finance (Retired), Citigroup Public Finance
Tom served as Managing Director and Head of Infrastructure Finance for Citi Public Finance and retired from Citi after 22 years with the firm. At Citi, Mr. Green served as lead banker on many high profile transactions, including financings for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and its various authorities involved in funding transportation, higher education, K-12 school building, clean water and safe drinking water projects throughout Massachusetts, on the sale of the Boston Red Sox and on the restructuring and recapitalization of Harvard Pilgrim Health Care. Prior to joining Citi, Tom was the First Assistant Attorney General of Massachusetts from 1992-1998. In that role, he supervised the State’s successful case against and settlement with the U.S. tobacco industry. For that work, he received the National Association of Attorneys General 1998 President’s Distinguished Service Award.
Tom received B.A., M.B.A., and J.D. degrees from Harvard University. Tom lives in Williamstown, Mass and currently serves on the Board of the UMASS Building Authority and as Chair of the Board of Trustees of Southwestern Vermont Medical Center, a Dartmouth Health System member hospital based in Bennington, Vermont that serves communities in northern Berkshire County, Massachusetts, southern Vermont and upstate, eastern New York.
