Join us for a Newsmakers event with Sen. Stan Rosenberg, Rep. Aaron Michlewitz, and Will Burns of Airbnb to discuss how disruptive technologies should be regulated.

Disruptive technologies raise all sorts of questions for state policymakers, everything from how should the new technology be regulated to should it be regulated at all. The new issue of CommonWealth magazine features stories that drill down on two of the hottest disruptive technologies – Airbnb and ride-hailing apps such as Uber and Lyft. Both are extremely popular with consumers, and both are having major impacts that many policymakers failed to foresee.

This event is FREE to MassINC Friends ($250+) and Citizens’ Circle ($1,000+) members who have supported MassINC and CommonWealth in the last year. If you are a Friend or Citizens’ Circle member enter the promotional code MEMBER when selecting your ticket.

If you would like to become a Friend or Citizens’ Circle member donate here or call 617-224-1709.

All others are welcome with a registration fee of $25.00.

Breakfast will be provided. All attendees must register and bring a valid photo ID to be admitted to One Financial.
