The Gateway Cities Innovation Summit brings together municipal leaders, policymakers, practitioners, community partners, and innovators from across Massachusetts for a day of learning, conversation, and connection focused on the future of the Commonwealth’s Gateway Cities.
This year’s Summit, taking place on Wednesday, November 18, will explore the theme Gateways to the Middle Class. Building on MassINC’s recent research on the changing middle class, the program will examine how Gateway Cities can expand pathways to economic security and opportunity through good jobs, quality housing, education, workforce development, and strong communities.
Through plenary discussions, presentations, and conversations with leaders from across the state, attendees will explore promising ideas and practical strategies for strengthening Gateway Cities and ensuring that more residents can build and sustain a middle-class life.
The day will also feature the Gateway Cities Innovation Awards, recognizing individuals, organizations, and partnerships whose leadership and creativity are making a meaningful difference in Gateway Cities across Massachusetts.
Registration and details are forthcoming. Stay tuned for more information.
