Transportation Access and Solutions for Rural Communities

12:00pm – 1:30pm Virtual

The Money Train is making its next stop on Monday, November 9 at noon!

Join Transportation for Massachusetts on Zoom for a conversation on transportation solutions for rural residents to get to services they need including healthcare, and the vital role microtransit services play in rural communities.

Our panelists will put the findings from three reports on the economic benefits of microtransit and a poll from the MassINC Polling Group on health access in rural Massachusetts in conversation with each other. We’ll hear how the data translates to the impacts felt by residents, and what is needed to close remaining gaps in access to services.

We hope to see you there!

Panelists include:

  • Rich Parr, Vice President, MassINC Polling Group
  • Michael McNally, Senior Research Analyst, UMass Amherst Donahue Institute
  • Branner Stewart, Senior Research Manager, UMass Amherst Donahue Institute
  • Gwynne Guzzeau, Executive Director, Helping Our Women
  • Moderated by Reggie Ramos, Executive Director, T4MA
