The Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce held its third-annual “Game Changers: Next Big Idea Expo and Conference” on Friday, October 19. MassINC research director Ben Forman shared findings on Gateway City TOD as part of a panel focused on strategies to position Union Station for future success. The conversation on Worcester’s transportation future continues next month. On November 27, the Worcester Regional Research Bureau will hold an event in partnership with the Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce to discuss the findings of its new report City on the Move: An Overview and Assessment of Worcester’s’ Transportation Needs. Speakers include Chris Dempsey (T4MA), Sujatha Krishnan (Central Mass. Regional Planning Commission), Stephanie Pollack (Massachusetts Secretary of Transportation), and David Strauss (Association for Commuter Transportation).
