On Wednesday, April 14 MassINC released new research on Early College, an up-and-coming initiative that is making significant gains in the higher education equity gap.
No single strategy offers a silver bullet, but Early College has a proven track-record of increasing post-secondary completion, and it has clear potential to interrupt structural inequality in education.
Educators, policymakers, advocates, parents and students joined MassINC for an exciting look at how Massachusetts can capitalize on the opportunities Early College presents, from policy to implementation. Audience members heard from experts in higher education policy, students who have completed Early College programing, and Massachusetts policymakers as we outlined what an investment in Early College could mean for the commonwealth.
