Meghan Jones is excited to join the MassINC team as the Program Assistant for her second and final co-op. A history major at Northeastern University, Meg has concentrations in public history and the history of Women, Gender and Sexuality studies, as well as minors in Information Science and Computational Social Sciences. Her interest in policy was sparked by an independent study she did a year ago that looked at reactions to mass shootings on Reddit, in which she did all of the coding and analysis herself and presented at Northeastern’s Social Science’s forum. On campus, Meghan is a Resident Assistant for International Village, as well as running and choreographing for Northeastern’s largest dance group, No Limits Dance Crew as one of its co-presidents.

Meghan was raised around politics and history in the hometown of President Franklin Delano Roosevelt, and she hopes to continue studying these after graduation in May.
