First Gubernatorial Issues Debate

A discussion about Cape Wind and its impact on climate change, the economy, and energy policy in Massachusetts

Charles Baker, Republican
Massachusetts Treasurer Tim Cahill, Independent
Governor Deval Patrick, Democrat
Jill Stein, Green-Rainbow Party

Monday, August 16, 2010
Program begins at 4pm
Doors open at 3:30pm

Cape Wind has taken on national prominence as a symbol of our nation’s efforts to embrace renewable energy, reduce reliance on fossil fuels, and combat climate change. But locally the project’s above-market cost has become a hot-button issue, prompting a debate about green industry in general and the best way for the state to achieve its environmental and energy goals without putting businesses at a competitive disadvantage.

Moderated by Greg Torres, President of MassINC and publisher of CommonWealth magazine.
