Please join MassINC and Transportation for Massachusetts at a public forum and panel discussion on regional transportation investments in Massachusetts Gateway Cities.  As part of the event, MassINC will present a new research report entitled “Reinventing Transit: A Blueprint for Investing in Regional Transit Authorities for Strong Gateway City Economies” which provides a roadmap for how new public resources in regional transit can be invested with a focus on improving the economic performance of Gateway Cities like Lawrence and Haverhill. The program will include: remarks by elected officials, a presentation on the report’s findings, a panel discussion and questions from the audience.

This is the seventh of several forums that are being held in Gateway Cities throughout Massachusetts.

Outreach partners for this event include Northern Essex Community College, Merrimack Valley Chamber of Commerce, Amesbury Chamber of Commerce, Newburyport Chamber of Commerce, the Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce, and the Merrimack Valley Planning Commission.
