Editor, CommonWealth Beacon
CommonWealth Beacon seeks an outstanding, mission-driven Editor with a passion for local government, digital media, and rigorous public service journalism to lead the next phase of growth and impact for the organization.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer of MassINC, the Editor will lead CommonWealth Beacon’s award-winning newsroom in an exciting new phase of growth and innovation across a wide array of digital platforms. The newsroom includes an Executive Editor and three reporters, all of whom report directly to the Editor. In addition, CommonWealth Beacon enjoys critical support from, and close collaboration with, the Director of Audience and Director of Development.
